Family and Cosmetic Dentistry

Choosing a practice offering both family and cosmetic dentistry offers you a dizzying variety of treatments to serve virtually any dental need that you can imagine. And all under one convenient roof.

Pediatric Dental Sealants

What if there was a way where you could make an investment to prevent up to 80% of the cavities from developing in your young children? Well, it turns out that there is. Pediatric dental sealants prevent cavities by blocking the vulnerable surfaces of the back molars from being affected by oral bacteria that cause tooth decay.

Benefits of Pediatric Dental Sealants:

  • Prevent up to 80% of cavities
  • No drilling, shots, or anesthesia required
  • Fast, painless treatment

The procedure of applying pediatric dental sealants is simplicity itself. We apply a thin liquid to the surface of back molars. These are the teeth that are often hard to clean, making them more susceptible to tooth decay. After this liquid is painted onto your child’s teeth, it will harden and provide a shield against oral bacteria and the development of tooth decay.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are exploding in popularity right now as a cosmetic dentistry treatment that helps to correct minor imperfections with the teeth, like chips and discoloration.

The veneers are placed in two separate appointments. During your first, a small amount of tooth enamel will be removed to improve veneer adhesion. A mold will be made of your teeth that is sent to a laboratory that will be creating your actual veneers. At a subsequent appointment, your porcelain veneers will be placed.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are not a perfect solution for replacing missing teeth. But they are very close. Implants provide both the look and feel of natural teeth. They will not slip or slide in your mouth like dentures. Implants are firmly implanted and anchored within your jawbone for a permanent tooth replacement solution.

Receiving dental implants involves at least two dental visits. During your first visit, your dentist will implant a titanium metal post into your jawbone, which will fuse with it over time. After this fusing process is complete, we will place an abutment over the post, followed by a dental crown.

If you care for your new implants properly, they can be expected to last for a lifetime.

Invisalign

Invisalign has helped millions of teenagers and adults achieve straighter teeth and a beautiful smile that gets noticed. Patients love the way that they can have their teeth treated in a far less noticeable way than if they are wearing traditional braces that involve prominent metal wires and brackets.

The system requires that you wear clear plastic aligners for 22 hours a day. The great thing is that your aligners are completely removable at any time. For example, if you need to eat, clean your teeth, or have photos taken, you can remove your Invisalign aligners and replace them when done.
